Introducing Nancy Penir

Join me in welcoming the newest member of our Design Team, Nancy Penir!

Hi There! My name is Nancy Penir, & I've been a paper crafter for about 5 years. I'm married, have 5 grown children, and 11 grandchildren. As an empty nester I've found joy in card crafting when my last little chick flew the coop! Something you may not know from my blog, I  was an art major in college and have done just about every 'crafty' thing I could my whole life, and actually made a living from home. From sewing baby bedding to painting on clothing (remember that fad?), stained glass to hair bows, I think I've tried just about everything! Why paper crafting now? I've never found anything with such a loving, supportive, encouraging, talent filled community! And on top of the best people, it's fun! I am always blown away by what clever wonders can be done with paper! And I love connecting and commenting on all that inspiration.

I was thrilled when Tracey asked if I'd come on board with Tag You're It! (Aren't they some of the greatest crafters out there?) And I look forward to seeing all your beautiful tags & cards with tags, and sending some love your way!

Introducing Anja Curvers

Join me in welcoming Anja Curvers today...

SCAPPIETOO

Hi there my name is Anja Curvers. I live in a small village in the south of the Netherlands with my husband and 4 kids ( 2 boys and 2 girls). I started scrapbooking in 2003 and soon I was hooked. I love to make layouts now and then but my addiction is cardmaking nowadays. I find it hard to describe my "style" but it gets more and more clean and simple. Love all sorts of stamps and inks. You can find me at my blog scrappietoo. I am so thrilled and honoured to be part of the tag you're it team and can't wait to start creating. Thanks very much for this opportunity and I hope to inspire you with my tags.

Introducing Jen Mitchell

Join me in welcoming Jen Mitchell today...

Hello, I’m Jen Mitchell from Bridgewater Massachusetts in the US.  I’ve been stamping for about 10 years and although I’m mostly a clean and simple stamper, I like to dabble with other techniques as well.  By day I’m a number-crunching banker so for me unwinding at the end of the day with stamps and ink is the ultimate in relaxation!   I love to make tags and I’m thrilled to be joining the amazing design team here at Tag You’re It.

Introducing: Jeanne Jachna

Join me in welcoming Jeanne Jachna today...

Hi! I’m Jeanne Jachna.  I’m a married, stay at home mom of two young adults, and one very active Akita puppy. I live in Northwest Indiana near Chicago.   I like to read, garden, and cook, but I have been completely captivated by paper crafting.  I can’t resist a new set of stamps, bling, big bows and colorful paper.  I love to layer on lots of die cuts and mix different patterned papers together.   My time crafting is a sweet escape and a fun way to express myself.

Join me in welcoming Erin Thiem...

Hello, my name is Erin and I love creating cards, tags and other crafty projects.  I am a CAS girl who has an unhealthy supply of ribbon.  I live in Northern California in a little town called Nevada City and own and run a motel called the Outside Inn.  I often create projects in the early hours of the day and find that my creative time helps balance out the rest of the day, whether it's folding laundry, photographing for my work blog or hanging out with my family.

As we come to the end of the first term at Tag You`re It, there also comes some changes. Jackie Rockwell, the creator of Tag You`re It, is going to be stepping back from running the challenge. I did not want to see Tag You`re It shut down. so I am going to take over running the challenge. I can`t wait to start up again in the new year.

A very special thank you to Jackie for creating such a unique and fun challenge!

With the end of the term we are saying goodbye to some of our designers.  Maureen Merritt, Lisa Arana, Leigh Penner and Marion Vagg are also saying goodbye. Thank you ladies for all of your incredible talents and inspiration that you shared with us over the last six months! You will be missed and we hope to see you playing along with us as you can.

Now to introduce to you the four new designers that are joining Karin, Donna, Lynn, Gayatri,  Marybeth and myself for the next term. I am sure there will be no surprises here. Please welcome...

Tracey has some jingle bells to get you in the Christmas spirit for our next and final challenge of 2014!

Just a reminder that your tag creations should clearly be inspired by the Challenge Inspiration. If it is not visibly clear by looking at your tag, an explanation of how you were inspired in your blog post would be very helpful to the team when we are viewing your fabulous tags.
